Collateral Beauty is a movie that is all about a black American Howard Inlet who have suffered a loss particularly the death of his daughter that endangered not only his mental health but also the future of his company. Instead of working on strategies to maintain the cash flow, he focuses on building massive structures out of dominos. Perhaps more troublingly, Howard has gotten into the habit of writing letters. Not to people, but to abstractions which include time, love and death. After Howard mails bitterly letters to Time, Love and Death, His co-workers hire unemployed actors to embody these beings. And hired and pay a private detective to get video of him to make it look like he is crazy so that the board of directors can declare him incompetent.
Basically, Actors played their role very well. they gave justice to their characters at some point. The director of the movie seems to directs efficiently and without repetition. The film’s theme or subject is obviously about family and life. It was shown that Howard can really do anything for his daughter. The purpose of the film was to teach viewers a lesson of how important love is despite every struggle in life. It will surely warm the heart of its audience for it has a unique plot or story.
The movie wisely delivers a message on how to deal with so much sadness or depression we feel in our lives. The title “Collateral Beauty” will already give you a crazy but clever memo that every sadness, every pain and every struggle that we face or that no matter how dark or how difficult our situation is, there is something beautiful that is happening after it. The message was totally heartwarming and the movie was totally worth watching.
